Kandla Grey Indian Sandstone has been a staple in British landscaping for decades, and has remained at the forefront due to its versatile aesthetic and hard-wearing exterior. New slabs come in a variety of cool greys, but after installation they can develop rich copper veins due to weathering over years, embedding your garden with a sense of the natural transformations that have shaped our landscape for aeons.

If your looking for a smooth, even finish to your patio then the Kandla Grey Indian Sandstone 600 x 900 is a perfect fit. Laying slabs of single sizes allows you to create a directed landscape, which flows from one side of the garden to the other. And the 600 x 900 dimensions are large enough to give the paving a substantial presence, whilst still maintaining the workability of the slabs.

All of our Indian Sandstone is calibrated to a precision of 2mm, ensuring that all of the slabs have the same thickness making for an easier installation process and a more robust build. Since our Sandstone is a natural product, there will be slight variations in colour between slabs in the same pack because of the unique geological fingerprint that each stone carries, adding a touch of individuality and rustic beauty to your outdoor space!

Are other sizes available?

Our Indian Sandstone comes in both project packs and single sizes (600 x 600, 600 x 900), however if you are looking for more specific sizes we offer a bespoke cutting service which allows you to create paving with any dimensions you'd like! Please contact our office via phone or email to have your paving tailored for your garden!

Should I buy 18mm or 22mm?

Both our 18mm and 22mm slabs are suitable for patios and other domestic areas, however for driveways we recommend using 22mm thickness as they are considerably stronger and so can support heavier loads.

Should I include an extra 10% to account for wastage?

As a general rule of thumb, some paving is usually wasted during laying of the slabs due to cuts made at the edge of the patio, and for this reason we recommend ordering an additional 10% to compensate for this lost area.

Delivery and returns

Deliveries in and around Greater Manchester are made using a heavy goods vehicle with crane offload and are kerbside only, whilst nationwide deliveries are made via tail lift truck. Deliveries take place Monday to Saturday, usually between 7am to 5pm.

Local Pick Up

All of our products are eligible for collection from our superstore at Oakenbottom Road, and will be ready for collection within 30 minutes.
