Our Plum Slate 40mm comes straight from the magnificent Welsh quarries in which it is found, bringing a piece of the rugged British countryside with it. When dry it appears in a light mauve colour, but once wet the slate comes out in a rich deep purple that will enchant your garden. It is especially eye-catching when paired with a lavender flowerbed, or other purple shrubbery.

Plum Slate 40mm is one of our larger chippings, and this makes it perfect for creating driveways as the stones are not disturbed as easily as smaller gravels are. For the same reason it can also be laid on slopes without worrying about the chippings slipping over time.

We sell Plum Slate chippings in both bulk bags that weigh approximately 850kg, and handy bags that weigh 20kg, so you can buy the exact amount you need without any wastage! Large loose loads can also be bought at a discounted rate, please contact our office by phone or email to get a quote.

Deliveries in and around Greater Manchester are made using a heavy goods vehicle with crane offload and are kerbside only, whilst nationwide deliveries are made via tail lift truck.  Deliveries take place Monday to Saturday, usually between 7am to 5pm.

Premium Next Day Delivery

We also offer a premium next day* delivery service for when you need it now! The cost of which depends on whereabouts in the country you are situated. When you place your order online the delivery charge will be added to your basket at the checkout once you have entered the delivery address.

Local Pick Up

All of our products are eligible for collection from our superstore at Oakenbottom Road, and will be ready for collection within 30 minutes.

Returns and Cancellations:
We are happy to refund or exchange as long as the product is as sold and in its original packaging. Customers are responsible for all delivery charges.
