Our 3 x 2 C16 Timber is a high grade of sustainably sourced British Timber that has been graded with a minimum structural strength of 16 N/mm². This makes the timbers ideal for use in construction projects where durability is required such as roofing, flooring and wall framing.
The treatment process of this timber involves first processing the raw lumber which is kiln-dried to remove excess moisture, and then placed into a vacuum cylinder which is loaded with preservatives at a high pressure, allowing the treatment to penetrate deeply into the wood. This process prepares the treated timber for exterior use and prevents issues that arise with its untreated counterpart such as rot and insect infestation.
